Our Commitment
Raddie and Rue works with families and children to create photography and video content for our products and brand. We take the safety, dignity and privacy of every child seriously, and we only ever photograph or film children with the written consent of a parent or guardian.
Consent
Before any photoshoot, a parent or guardian completes and signs a consent form. The form sets out exactly how images and videos may be used (for example on our website, social media and marketing) and for how long. We will not photograph or film a child without this consent in place.
How We Use Images
With consent, we may use photographs and video on our website, social media channels, marketing materials and printed materials. We only use content in the ways agreed on the consent form.
Withdrawing Consent
A parent or guardian can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@raddieandrue.com. We will stop using the relevant content going forward as soon as reasonably possible. Please note that content already published on social media may have been shared or saved by others, and material already printed may remain in circulation; we will always do what we reasonably can.
Keeping Children Safe
Children are accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times during a shoot. We do not collect or publish identifying details such as a child's full name, school or home address alongside their image. We store consent forms securely and use them only for the purpose for which they were given.
User Submitted Content
Where families submit their own photographs to us (for example through our Adventure Map), the person submitting confirms they own the image or have permission to share it, and that they have consent from the parent or guardian of any child shown. Please see our Adventure Map terms and Privacy Policy for more detail.
Data Protection
Images of identifiable people are personal data. We handle them in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law.
